How do I install from this phone?

Tap Install now on iPhone, open the FairSIM app, scan the QR from another screen, or enter the details manually.

Use the phone you're traveling with, and stay on Wi-Fi while you install. It takes a few minutes. Start by opening your installation page on that phone: go to My eSIMs and choose your eSIM.

Open My eSIMs

The fastest way on an iPhone with iOS 17.4 or later.

  1. On your installation page, tap Install now.
  2. Your iPhone opens the eSIM setup in Settings.
  3. Tap Continue and follow the prompts.
  4. Choose FairSIM for mobile data. Keep your usual line for calls and texts if you need them.

Don't see Install now? Your phone doesn't support this option. Use one of the ways below.

Install by QR code

You can't scan a code that's on your own screen, so you need a second screen.

  1. Open your installation page on another device, such as a laptop, tablet or another phone, and log in with the same account.
  2. On your phone, open the camera and point it at the QR code.
  3. Tap the eSIM prompt that appears and follow the steps.
  4. Choose FairSIM for mobile data.

No prompt when you scan? Use manual setup below.

Install in the FairSIM app

Most convenient: the app also helps you turn on roaming and add more data later.

  1. On your installation page, tap the App Store button.
  2. Install the FairSIM app and open it.
  3. Log in with the same account you used to buy your eSIM.
  4. Go to My eSIMs and tap Install next to your eSIM.
  5. Follow the steps in the app.

Can't see your eSIM in the app? Check that you're logged in with the same account you used to buy it.

Or set it up manually

Use this if the other ways don't work.

  1. On your installation page, open Install manually.
  2. Copy the SM-DP+ address and the activation code.
  3. On iPhone:
    1. Open Settings, then Mobile Service (or Cellular).
    2. Tap Add eSIM, then Use QR code.
    3. Tap Enter details manually.
    4. Paste the SM-DP+ address and activation code.
  4. On Android:
    1. Open Settings, then Network & internet or Connections.
    2. Tap SIMs or SIM manager.
    3. Tap Add eSIM.
    4. Choose to enter the code manually.
    5. Paste the details. Menu names vary by phone.
  5. Follow the prompts and choose FairSIM for mobile data.

After installing

Turn on roaming for your FairSIM line before you travel. Don't delete the eSIM if you plan to add more data: each eSIM installs only once.
